Robinson who portrayed Dathan in this movie who was likened to the little red pitchforked devil on the left side of your shoulder whispering in your ear to do wicked and evil things while the angel is on the right side helping to keep you on the straight and narrow if you know what I mean and how did I get off to here, so anyway as I was saying…….Edward G. Well the most memorable scene of this movie for me is when Moses (Charleston Heston) took his staff and parted the RED SEA so the Hebrew Slaves can cross and flee from the Pharaoh Ramses’ (Yul Brynner) army of soldiers and who can ever forget Edward G. I love what I have seen so far this week and I remember the first time I saw The Ten Commandments and for those of you who do not know it’s a famous American religious historical Bible story about the life of Moses who was an adopted Egyptian prince. So when a Television Series like Mahabharat comes along well everyone who loves great movies will sit up straight, watch and take notice. Nor do they make those kinds of movies anymore and it’s as if there is a void. I must tell you the truth and that is they don’t make those kinds of actors anymore. LOL! Charleston Heston and Yul Brynner were the big talk back in the day and still are the greatest actors of all time in my book.
I don’t know anyone alive who has not seen at least one if not all of Charleston Heston’s great movies only unless you were living underneath a rock. He is one of those once in a lifetime actors that has gone down in history as one of the greatest actors of all time. Charleston Heston won an Oscar for Best Actor in these movies. Well, this show took me back to these times when the entire family sat around in the living room/entertainment room on a sofa and watched one of those Charleston Heston movies whereby he portrayed Moses in The Ten Commandments, Ben Hur and Astronauts Taylor in The Planet of the Apes.
